The conversation you are facing is free.
FirstSpar does not make you pay to find out whether it works. The free tier is the whole product, running on your own situation — build it, say it out loud, get the debrief. Pro is what you buy when three a week stops being enough.

Questions
The things worth knowing before you pay.
Why is the library the paid part, and not the app?
Because they cost different things to make. A generated scenario proves the idea works, and it should be free — it is the thing you came for. The 28 written scenarios are the part somebody sat down and wrote: each carries specific, disputable facts and a counterpart who is reasonable from the inside, and they are ordered so the library teaches rather than just lists. That is editorial work, and it is what Pro buys.
Does the weekly plan have a free trial?
No — only the annual does, and it is three days. A trial on a seven-day product gives away most of what is being sold, so the weekly is honest about being a purchase. If you want to try Pro without committing to a year, the annual trial is the way to do it; cancel inside three days and you are not charged.
What happens when I run out of free spars?
You are told plainly, with the day it resets, and the app keeps working — your logbook, your debriefs and your built scenarios are all still there. Your very first spar is never refused for any reason, including this one.
How do I cancel?
In your App Store account settings, the same place as every other subscription on your phone, and it takes about four taps. FirstSpar cannot cancel it for you and will not pretend otherwise. Settings inside the app links straight to the right screen. Cancelling stops the renewal; you keep Pro until the period you paid for ends.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue one directly, and anyone who tells you a subscription bought through the App Store can be refunded by the developer is guessing. See the terms.
Do I need an account?
Not to start. You can build a conversation and spar it without giving us anything. Signing in exists so your logbook survives a new phone, and you are asked once, after you have something worth keeping. See what is stored.
Is my subscription tied to my account?
It is tied to your Apple ID, which is how the App Store works. Restore Purchases in Settings brings it back on a new device.
Prices are in US dollars and shown before tax; the App Store converts them to your local currency and may round. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. The price you are charged is always the one the App Store shows you at the moment of purchase — if it disagrees with this page, the App Store is right and this page is stale.
